The original Pete Twist, Sam is all grown up at age 26 and is heavily involved in the Melbourne music scene. Sam says that at gigs he is often still recognised as Pete Twist by his band's fans, which always makes him smile.

Sam is not only found on stage as lead guitarist and vocalist with his 80's cover band, 80s Enough, but also works behind the scenes as manager and co-ordinator to a number of different Melbourne cover bands.

The music scene is keeping Sam well and truly busy so he has not recently found himself in front of the camera. In between Sam belting out those famous 80s hits he loves playing golf, watching movies (especially those with Kevin Spacey and John Cusac in them) and writing lyrics.

Sam loved his time on Round the Twist but now loves the fact that he can concentrate on his music.
